Raised in the rolling foothills of the Otway Ranges in South West Victoria, Australia, Otway’s pigs have been cared for in accordance with strict Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) guidelines - freedom from hunger, thirst, discomfort, pain, injury or disease; Freedom to express their normal behaviour and freedom from fear and distress.

Otway pigs have been derived from a hybrid strain of pigs with the base genetics made up from the Duroc, Large White and Landrace breeds.
